Welcome to the Association, the trade association of non-life and life insurers. We represent more than 95 percent of all insurers in the Netherlands. Reinsurers, insurtechs, premium pension institutions and companies involved in bank savings are also affiliated with us. As a representative of the interests of all members, we respond to social developments and connect the insurance sector with society. The interests of the insured are paramount.
Every day we are in dialogue with the government, The Hague and European politicians, various other (industry) organisations, regulators, NGOs and the media. Together with members and other stakeholders, we are working on solutions to problems such as old-age provisions or social security in our country, but also to the security of homes or the consequences of climate change.
