BOVAG has developed a portal for this purpose. In this system, repairers can provide information in a standardised way about, among other things, their sustainability policy, ambition and performance, such as CO2 emissions. This can then easily be shared with insurers and banks.
Sustainability information for 2024
The format has been developed in consultation with insurers and banks and is being further developed together. The coming period will be dedicated to testing the data exchange so that by 2025 everything will be ready to be able to deliver and receive the sustainability information for 2024. Geeke Feiter: 'I am very happy with this initiative, because it will relieve repairers and insurers of a lot of worries. This way we need less time to make the reports and we have more time for sustainability in practice. Because in the end, of course, that's what it's all about".
